Brake Dust is HARMFUL to your Wheels!
Brake Dust is iron Particles that are Damaging your Wheels!

Brake dust is horrible, let’s be honest. While removing brake dust from a vehicle’s paint can usually be handled with an iron-remover and clay bar but, when it comes to removing brake dust from your wheels it can be a real pain. Brake dust is corrosive and if left to build up on your wheels it will eat away at the finish and ruin their appearance. Ideally you’ll want to be cleaning your wheels and inner barrels every 3 months depending on how frequently and far you’re driving.
If you have super intcrate wheels and find getting them 100% clean is sometimes difficult, a ceramic coating on your wheels may be beneficial to you. While a ceramic coating on your wheels is not going to prevent you from hitting a curb and scratching your wheels, it is going to make cleaning them easier and prevent erosion from brake dust.
You can coat the wheel faces to help protect your wheels from daily wear and tear, or if you’re investing in a new set of wheels for your ride I highly recommend getting your wheels ceramic coated fresh out of the box before you mount tires and put them on, by bringing them brand new in the box you’re going to save money in the long run and be able to the entirety of the wheel coated.
If you have any questions on brake dust, how to remove it, or how a wheel coating might be beneficial don’t hesitate to reach out.
